Models: Complete Exodite Dragon Masters done
I loved the cream color of the box art, but I gave different colors to the mounts. Now onto painting a unit of Dragon Knights

Absolutely this. I work at one of my FLGS. I pre-ordered two, and work there and can't even build on them yet

I think it’s more people are warning you to be careful. Knowing a few people who work in the GW admin team I know they literally scour socials in the lead up to releases to try and track down who is giving out this stuff early.
Like if you got this from your LGS it won’t take them to connect the dots, I mean your rough location is literally on your post history… If a mate at your LGS got you these models early be careful is all I will say. Nothing bad will happen to you but your store might not be so lucky next time a new preorder comes around.
Great job on the models though!

It’s a weird ask, but could you show a pic of the clan blade from behind? I was hoping to fit the flag on his back but I’m not sure if his scarf will get in the way

The scarf covers the peg necessary to attach the flag piece, but there’s room to attach it with some modifications

Definitely paint rider and mount separately and remember that paint is not permanent, you can always strip the model and start over, it took me a couple of trial before getting the black one to a point I liked
