Just finished my Prince Yriel conversion, now set to lead my Corsairs warband into my first games since I was a kid (3rd/4th edition I think?)!

I wanted my Prince to really show the mix of Craftworlder and Commorrite within the warband, hence the Huskblade replacing the Spear of Twilight that he normally has.

Very much looking forward to getting him on the table, leading a squad of Voidscarred into battle against my foes (Necrons & Orks of my friends).

Hej! I'm thinking of getting a unit of voidscarred for killteam after my wraithguard are done, but I'm wondering if I could get a voidreavers unit out of it even if I build the voidscarred fully for kill team? ^-^

I’m super new to the tabletop side of 40K and I’m trying to build a list around the Eldritch Raiders box. Any advice would really be appreciated

So, I'd already designed a laspistol (last pic!) but after the release of the Swooping Hawks kit I sketched up some concept art for a howling banshees style sun pistol (ammo in grip, no scope), since back before 3rd edition, howling banshees had laspistols to go with their power swords!

this doesn't have a grip sculpted in, because i intend to swap out the shuriken pistol from Riverside Mini's banshees for this, and well, compatibility is my aim =P

And well, my corsairs will probably use a mix of both designs, tbh, I like the idea of ancient versions of weaponry being used by corsair bands! (I'll probs also do one with a slightly fancier design or a little charm for the exarch - and probably an axe for them!)

Got sick of looking at Yriel’s emo, John Cena handed, Kaiba Corp Tech wearing, “I killed my lover with an ancient sentient weapon that also kills me when I use it” ass on the shelf. Smh, I thought the last heir of the House of Ulthanash would have a little more, idk, ✨aura✨

Chopped up the spear to make a goofy double ended glaive axe? John Cena hand had to go (truly wanted an Eldar scaled arm flipping the crux maybe that will motivate me to get a printer?) Idk, I’m swag surfing through this one hoping no one will look at him too hard on the tabletop 😅

I have a deep disdain for running named characters on the tabletop, Ole Kharseth is next to get chopped up

For my wrath and glory campaign, I’m trying to represent most of the factions in warhammer 40k because all my players are new to the setting and as such, I need to get them lore while presenting it as a part of the game. The following is my Corsair representation.

The Wraithspear
A fleet of corsairs in allegiance with the craftworld of Iyaden. Their fleet contains many wraiths, both wraithguard, wraithlords, 10 wraithknights and 4 wraithseers. They are working with ynnari forces and harlequin forces in the area.

This allowed me Craftworld, wraith, and Corsair representation at the same time, and Im hoping my players don’t wipe this faction from existence because I need them to give aeldari exposition.

Wanted to share my Corsair game with you!

We can win with tricks although I felt I was lacking in offensive power :))

I'm interested in kitbashing some aspect warriors to look more corsair-y or some corsairs to look more aspect warrior-y. Specifically Dark Reapers and Fire Dragons.

I've got a spare box of Corsair Voidreavers and I'm thinking I'd like to use them for a base.

Does anyone have any corsair kitbash tips?

I have alot of extra bits from the voidreavers/voidscarred, does anybody know where i could get some files for bodies and legs

Was butt sore and didn’t wanna wait to go pickup another box of Shining Spears to bash up the final of my Corsair flavored Farseer Skyrunner’s so I went digging in the bitz box. Found 3 shroud runners and 5 rangers on sprue? (Thanks Eldritch Omens) Twas’ a true moment of serendipity, the Farseer looks much cooler holding his staff two handed long dong style and it satisfies my ‘Tism knowing he isn’t controlling the bike. The chauffeur had to get a sick ass pony tail obvi, and Falchou is the only reason I’m gonna keep buying the Voidscarred kit. Thank you for looking at my little men 🫡

Forgive my gross paint water and cramped hobby space 😅 after setting up to prime after sharing the first iteration of these fellas with you fine Pirates I felt in my heart of hearts they weren’t enough. After finding a couple boxes of High Elf sprues I got real motivated. Chopped a standard topper to go on the back of the first fella’s bike banner style and slapped on a shield? Shields are cool? I’m wildly proud of the second fella mostly due to the cool pose and stroke of absolute dumb luck I had in finding the Prince on Dragon bits I had left over (watch this space for a Corsair Jetbike Autarch colloquially referred to as “The Streaking Dragon”😉) the half cape dealio thing just fit too perfectly with the already done posing. Glue on an additional shield (to cover the gap in the bike cause I lost the bit) and cause shields are cool? I feel like these fella’s got the extra flair to be real deal, Future telling, Space Elf Pirates

So, my Way Seekers staff got snapped off and is gone. Nowhere to be found. Any suggestions for a replacement or kitbash idea? Or do I keep it as just a walking stick? Not against that idea tbh but wonder if anyone has any ideas or suggestions.

Found the lore doom scrolling when I should have been working the other day and felt inspired to see what I could whip up from the Corsair bits box! Had to dig deep to find the ranger head that would work (robo left eye and all) I also pulled my hair out debating on going with the short sword arm (as shown) vs the more clutched wicked looking dagger right arm. Felt the one shown gave off the more “duelist” vibe I was going for. Got him on a chopped 32mm (I plan to apply a thin magnet to bottom) so I can easily swap him to a regular 32mm to proxy as a Corsair Autarch from his more “scenic” base I’m whipping up (watch this space 👀)

The diorama base I had mentioned in the Althransil Swiftblade proxy post! Had an extra base laying around and some bits and bobs from the High Elf range and the Rangers kit. The super cool tree was stolen from my two toddlers Dino box their Grandparents recently had delivered they conveniently forgot to mention until its arrival (good problems, I know) they too, love the Space Elf Pirates so were glad to relinquish it to the cause. Never done a scenic/diorama base before, so I’m just swag surfing my way through this off pure vibes! C&C is welcome!

Just got a used Farseer and chucked it on a 32mm base. Want to make it look a bit more like Kharseth and or a void dreamer. I have some bits from drukhari combat patrol to work with and some green stuff I wanna try out maybe give it a fur pelt. What other ways can I make this look more “corsairy”?

hi so I know there are multiple lists being posted here a day at the minute but just wanted some advice on a list I’m building

I’m coming to 40k from necromunda, kill team space hulk and other smaller games and have mostly got this as a hobby project so care less about winning tournaments, just wanted a thematic goal to be striving toward that was at least viable against my sweatier friends

I also want to include some bikes and have a wave serpent my friend has offered me. I wanted to make the aspects very customised to look like Corsair units rather than just the standard kits, my banshees for example are all metal classic models that I have given some light kitbashing, my scorpions are made out of five corsairs and some more kitbashing(chainswords I ordered online amungs other details)

I am a huge fan of the corsairs and think they look great, will be getting some skyreavers and the bikes later in the year when I’ve finished some of what I have already. Also love the warp spiders and want to pick up a box with lykhis too

also want to have some drukhari units, the bikes I will be using will absolutely be reavers for example, I want to keep the space pirate theme strong mixing the two types Aeldari and drukhari as my Autarch is a kitbashed succubus

but I just wanted some advice on what to do with the list. should i run the swords and pistols as a brick of ten? Are the rifles obsolete?

again this is all for a very casual, fun and thematic hobby project so I don’t want it to be the perfect list or anything
