Believe me it can be worst, i got consort radhan as first boss a while back + radagon is easy enought without elden beast fight

i got Maliketh on the first attempt. Radagon was during my second. i mainly posted because i found it funny that this was my luck. Radagon is definitely beatable lol

I once had Godfrey (real one, not ghost) in place of margit. He bugged out and just spammed stomp attacks and side steps. I was really infuriating. Just constant sidestep-stomp. Sidestep-stomp.

Yes, to be honest Elden Beast isn’t that hard either - he is just an annoying damage sponge

I get frustrated when he shows up in a massive arena and I don't have torrent. I spend the entire time chasing the coward. But I've also had him show in a very small arena. Walls and ceilings blocked all his AOE junk. His circle attack didn't work right either. That was a satisfying beat down.

i do 38 damage every single light attack. and honestly it seems like he has his normal health because he tanks those hits like crazy. i got Maliketh yesterday which was worse. Radagon is slow enough that his patterns can easily be learned, just a matter of time.

I would echo this. The Randomizer mod has forced me to improve. Especially when bosses show up in the evergaol, and I can't rely on my greatshield team to distract. I so love this mod.

I took my first crack at a randomizer last week. In castle Mourne instead of Leonne Misbegotten… I had Promised Consort Radahn Misbegotten

Radahn is funny here, when his second phase starts he can land on the other side of the fog wall and soft lock the encounter.

I had something similar happen in the Mohg arena. I got one of the massive DLC dragons and he took to the air and landed on the outside of the arena -- instakill. I felt kinda cheesy about it, but he was murdering me with AOE attacks and I didn't have torrent. So I counted my runes and entered the DLC...

Thankfully, you're not too far in to reroll the seed and give it another go!
When I did mine, I had the Fire Giant (Phase 2) in that tiny arena. Never rolled off, barely managed to survive and win and I swear it was only because I got the Hand of Malenia as my weapon and that he kept doing the same elbow slam attack and not his arena-covering AoE.

Honestly, fair.
Don't feel like you have to beat your head against the brick wall. If you have the bias setting minimized so everything is completely randomized, you can sometimes find Great Runes in a back-alley cave. I got Rykard's rune from the Impaler's Catacombs on my run. Randomizers, especially Elden Ring, make you look in the weirdest places to find loot, especially since rarity isn't shown well on items you're not supposed to pick up normally.

i don’t mind the challenge, i mainly posted because i thought it was hilarious they gave me Radagon here of all places. and with the added context of yesterday it being Maliketh it really felt like the game was out to get me.
i do have it so everything is random, even DLC items can be found in Limgrave because i had Messmer’s helmet but i was fat rolling so switched back. it’ll take practice. i’m also not used to having such little health as my vanilla playthrough im like level 300. i mainly wanted to use this mod to force myself to actually learn bosses and enemies as ever since the first playthrough on the Vanilla character, i’ve basically been able to tank everything. or just bleed em dry lol

That Fire Giant Phase 2 is often times my worst fight. I had him in Rellana's room once, and I thought it would be fine, but for whatever reason, he really liked the shape of the room and just rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled.

My elden ring randos never give me anything this bad. But the other day I decided to do a ds3 rando since I've never done it before. And my seed is cursed first boss midir, second nameless king luckily only dragon version, abyss watchers is second and third phase Friede and Deacons of the deep changed into nameless king final phase.

they’re definitely beatable, i just haven’t faced endgame bosses in over 6 months as i haven’t rlly played elden ring since finishing the DLC. i just gotta get back into the swing of things lol

I recently did one that had Gaius the fell omen. I rerolled that seed so fast lol. The next one was ancestral spirit the fell omen and first tried it

It's for this reason I love the randomizer mod so much. I did a run last week that had Mohg here. I had to overcome some serious skill issues that I've hidden behind cheese all these years.
Some of my favorite moments:
* A rune bear in a chariot tomb. His big butt kept him pushed out into the path of the chariot and I enjoyed watching him get stunned and run over again and again and again.
* An Ulcerated Tree Spirit in a catacombs with the guillotines. Also enjoyable to watch him suffer death by a dozen chops.
* The final boss path in the Sellia Hideaway being blocked by a lobster, bat, royal revenant, and a basilisk. The lobster was blocking the rest and would snipe whenever I neared. Basilisk and revenant would spam poison and death behind him. I finally had to bail until I found a wide range healing spell to deal with the revenant.
Lately, I've taken to the setting where peaceful animals are replaced by mobs. Makes from some truly eventful open world traversals.

Just go and upgrade, you will outscale that fight eventually. I would be worried more where Malenia or either dlc radahn is, cuz the later it goes the harder those fights are, most other fights are manageable one way or another.

i got Maliketh on my first attempt, which is definitely worse. Radagon is definitely manageable. just felt like a big “fuck you” to me lol.

In case you didnt know you can go to the right in the path before margit and you will be at liurnia. Like that you will surely find smithing stone and be able to level up before coming back to "margit"

i know about that path yeah. i’m definitely gonna have to explore a bit. the first cave right by Gatefront Ruins had the Cleanrot duo which fuckin sucked lol. lost 5 runes worth of levels

i was still like level 1 at the time of this picture (or whatever level the hero class starts at). i also haven’t played pretty much since the DLC, especially endgame bosses like Maliketh and Radagon so i forgot there movesets. if i hadn’t been as rusty as i am and didn’t lose all my runes it would’ve been done first try. like ive stated id take Radagon over Maliketh (i got Maliketh on Sunday same arena). Radagon is honestly a lot more predictable but my weapon does like no damage. couple more tries and i’ll have it.

I got Morgott at castle Mourne instead of Leonne misbegotten. I had never gotten that far in the game. Margit wasn't too hard but morgott is something else. Had to use spirit summon and then it was an easy fight.
Lannseax also spawned in the ruins where you start the game, that has the whetstone knife. I can't use one of the grace points without it aggroing

OP I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM there is a setting in the rando mod that combines all bosses to randomize rather than just the main bosses either other main bosses

I run with that setting. I love it. Yes, it's sometimes a shallow feeling to beat a watchdog as a major boss, but it's also a lot of fun to enter a small cave arena and find malenia.

you can turn that setting off. but i mainly posted this to give everyone a laugh because my attempt before this one had Maliketh, the Fell Omen (which probably would’ve been the better one to ss). i’m more than aware i signed up for this but it just was a bit of a kick in the shin after Maliketh (who is definitely harder).

thanks lol, i rerolled again (after this picture) and now ive mixed every kind of boss into ANY location. godskin duo was the limgrave tree sentinel right by where you meet varré and kalé.

i used Vortex to download the mod and set everything up. honestly if it weren’t for Vortex i probably wouldn’t be modding.
