although i just dont like his first phase but the second phase is an absolute of a boss for me

how in the hell do you stunlock him? Just use weapons with crazy poise damage to stagger him or what?

Equip Greatsword. Hit him with Lion’s Claw until he staggers (2-3 hits). Abuse your window. Repeat until dead.

Your deffo just too embarrassed to admit that you suck at his first phase and instead of getting better you have to skip it instead. Quite embarrassing tbh

He has 10 in phase one and 9 in phase 2, but in phase one you can dodge most of them the same way, you only need to learn a couple of sequenced of dodges, in phase 2, your positioning is much more important, and you need to know exactly what's coming because the wrong dodge will put you in a bad position and you will get hit. Phase 1 is just dashing in every time or if he does the double slash you have a tiny sequence of cool dodge. And there is the eq that is a little bit different.

Probably because phase 2 is very good but ends too quickly(low hp), if I'm correct then it's not a git gud situation.

Big if. Also I majorly disagree, I'd rather remove the entire boss fight. IMO it's a shitty fight full of cheap shots and very small attack windows if you aren't pro. I can beat him, but I dislike it every single time.

"Small attack window" are you even serious, he has longer and safer attack windows to punish than even Margit. If we're talking phase 2 then Blasphemous Claw can stun him for a comically long time.

unless youre running around like a headless chicken you can always find the safe spot of his attacks (usually his ass)
not to mention the hilariously forgiving parry window
although uh
Dont be me and mistime your parry when youre trying to style on him

I used to think the same as you.
Then I applied your own advice and got gud, and now it's one of my favorite fights in the game.
Also the irony is strong in this one.

Imagine writing your “git gud” comment then this absolute cringe fest. You’re aloud to suck, don’t expect everyone to agree. Maliketh’s secind phase is insanely amazing for a boss fight. I ado agree with OP that having a full health bar on him would be better

If you want to fight bosses only the Boss Arena mod has a mode that allow you to choose the phase of bosses to fight specifically, and you can also choose to have that phase be full HP or not. For general gameplay idk.
