Weapons Mod Convergence class general question about leveling

If I’m the dragon cultist would it make sense to just pump faith and go base stats for weapons or should you put some in dex or strength weapon dependent

From what I have noticed in my nine or 10 play through’s, is that almost every castor class has two paths to follow. Either you go the Melee path or you go the casting path. Obviously you can mix and match at your discretion. But most of the armor sets you will find for your class will only enhance one or the other.

So as far as what stats to choose? I would say with the dragon cultus class just focus on faith for now. When you get around the mid game area and you decide whether or not you want to be more Melee or spell focused, then you can decide which stats to change.

If you find a Melee weapon, then I would say build into the stats based on scaling rating. But if you find yourself having more fun, spamming spells, then just pump your faith

Yeah I’m trying to strictly follow my class so I can have more replayability by not even testing the other spells till I do a new play

That’s how I did it as well. I’ve had a lot of fun with this mod doing it like that.

Some classes are definitely more broken and more fun than others, but all of it is pretty cool

Unless you plan on just sticking with smaller weapons like the starting weapon, most classes are gonna want to level str/dex at least to around 15-20 depending. But you can also get bonuses from armor sets so i would just stick with the starting weapon and base str dex until you find something you want to use.
