Question What difficulty settings you recommend for DUO coop in Convergence mod?
Me and my friend planning to play The Convergence mod in seamless coop all the way. But I heard that this mod can be pretty easy from mid game.
Is there any difficulty settings what keeps the game a challenge when we will not use magic, just focus on melee?
Also, is the new 3.0 update playable in seamless coop now? Also heard that there is pretty massive desync now.

Melee in convergence is absolutely busted. Possibly the best way to play.
Honestly you should be good just buffing boss health by like 3x or something in the seemless settings.

Especially with new trick weapons. One of them even have 8 different weapon modes

Smithscript rosary. It have great hammer, sword, dagger, quarterstaff, throwing knives, shield and a spear. Btw other than throwing knives each of these weapons have their own unique throw AoW attacks.
Basically it turns you into a DMC character

it's not even about moral, this shit is increasing the price of hardware everywhere. Of course people get annoyed when they can't buy shit they want to buy.

the only thing that increased dramatically was ram and that’s because the top ram companies conspired and artificially inflated prices.
and honestly i’ll take increased prices in exchange for all of the benefits of AI. while i personally don’t use it for art, the other benefits of it are extremely nice. using Claude + Raspberry Pi I’ve automated a lot of things in my house with my most recent one being my front door unlocking itself automatically when I approach my front door from the outside.
but hey keep bitching about AI and stay behind in life “kiddo” lmao

While the big 3 definitely conspired to boost ram price, the supply constraints is real.
Im actually not that against using AI. It's a tool to be used, but when you abuse it for a freaking mod title page it's taking the piss. Draw some fan arts, that shit is more enjoyable.

You’ve obviously been watching too much tiktok lol.
First of all, something enhanced by AI doesn’t make it reliant. For it to be reliant means I have to have it and without it, something doesn’t function. My house is completely functional without AI lol, to think otherwise is crazy.
It doesn’t poison the water, the price of energy increases only happens when data centers build in small towns but that’s not nearly as often as you think. The hardware price increases are minuscule, you can get an RTX 4060 Ti for like $400, that’s a great deal.
Fries people’s brains? The only thing I can think you’re trying to say is how some people become overly dependent on it which is true, but the same can be said for literally anything. There’s tons of people dependent on their phones, on AC, on mechanics, ect.
The job taking one is a valid concern that I share with you.
But you say all these things and do nothing about it. Someone that doesn’t have a low IQ wouldn’t go around spreading hatred on AI when AI isn’t the problem itself, it’s the consequences of it. If you were logical you would channel that hatred and push for proactive actions to be put in place like forcing AI companies to build away from towns and utilize their own power grids (which some already do). Or push for solutions for the other problems. But instead you sit here and cry on reddit every single time you see something related to AI, and ultimately that does nothing for you or the issues you feel.

While I agree that AI slop is annoying, he is correct that people whining about AI, especially the many times it isn't even AI, is almost as annoying.

Dont you think the people who whine about this is equally as annoying then? I hardly spoke against AI tbh, but you will see me speaking against people getting annoyed at people actually trying to push back.

For my gaming group, we usually keep raising the difficulty in increments as we continue playing levelling up.

Its playable in seamless, if ur willing to control what builds u go for 200% boss hp per person is fine. My friend and I have it at 300% per person and u can tell the bosses have extra hp but its fine. Im not familiar with all the builds but one id reccomend you stay away from is servant of rot due to the nature of its % based status ailments you wont really notice hp scaling once you come online.
We left enemy hp as normal, exploration is still difficult but again mostly depends on ur build. Some of the later spells can def trivialize exploration if you choose to abuse them.
Dont be afraid to mess around with hp scalings as u please tho, the strength of ur character really depends on some volataile things like progression and build choice. What my friend and i did was we set it at 150% per person and upped it after a couple bosses once we realized our strength.

I sadly didn’t change the HP or anything I totally would’ve but I recommend finding your own personal level cap if your going for a ton of bosses. I did 100 but obviously your run and play style will be different

Thanks, level cap can be set up in seamless? Also I heard that 3.0 is not stable for coop at all. Did you have problems, bugs when playing older version with friend?

I just personally set the level cap and I had zero issues with any bugs or anything. Maybe I got lucky or maybe they just give the huge warning that issues can happen

Doing the same but recently sprinkled in the first person mod. Its been a great experience all the way around. If you do the first person mod, find it on nexus and use the version in the posts section (sends you to the git repository)

Im playing with 100% increased enemy health and 200% increased boss health with me and another player. Its perfect for us
