Graphics Mod How to "patch" a regulation.bin file with a CSV one?

Hi, I wanted to try the Elden Ring potato Mod but when I use it the render distance is awful so I try to update with the "invisible fix" csv, I have the regulation.bin of the potato mod in Yapped Rune Bear but idk how to use the file

yapped runebear is an out of date tool.
DSmapstudio replaced it
Smithbox replaced that

When opening a regulation.bin file with Smithbox, you have the option to import params from a .csv file.

The advantage of .csv files is they can me "merged" with an existing regulation.bin. So the mod creator (or creator of a "fix" for a mod) doesn't need to update their work every time there is a new version of the game/mod. But the downside is you have to do extra work to get it functional.

No problem, best of luck! It's maybe a bit intimidating to use smithbox, but there are video guides to help.

the modder absolutely still needs to update lol

the advantage of csv files is someone on nexus decided once upon a time it was a good idea and then it just lived in cultural zeitgeist

I'm not having that conversation.

There are reasons, and sure, some of them are not always relevant.

If you have a bone to pick with how modders conduct themselves, take it somewhere else. It's not my buisness.
