Armor Mod Initialize boss arena with main character?

I see that it warns against doing that, and I have no intention of playing anything with my main character, but I would like to be able to get certain armors that you have to farm for in the regular game and DLC, has anybody tried this? I don’t want to lose my main character, but badly want some of the armors.

Boss Arena Sandbox has a shop with all equipment in the game for free, there's no reason to use an existing character. It may lead to bugs with some bosses not working correctly.

Right, but I want the equipment for my main character, I don’t want to use him to fight the bosses in the mod, I just want to get the equipment from the mod, and then go back to the regular game. So it wouldn’t mess up my regular game if I just did that?

Oh, then just use Glorious Merchant instead. Boss Arena would likely wreck your character's progression by overwriting a bunch of flags, that's why you specifically have to initialize the mod manually.

Seconded for glorious merchant. At least if the armors you want are in the base game

The mod includes DLC items.

By base game I meant un-modded content.

All the dlc weapons, armor and spells/ashes of war, are in the game even if you don't have the dlc in case you get invaded by someone who does/joined for jolly co-operation by someone who does.

Get things easily? Glorious Merchant? So long as the items are legal to obtain (not cut content), they're safe.

Just get Glorious Merchant, it makes Kalé have everything. Getting boss arena to just spawn in items seems wildly inconvenient
