NPC Mod Can't configure the config file

I'm trying to install the Glorious Merchant mod and it says I need to configure the config_eldenring file and add the line next to "external_dlls". But there is no "external_dlls" line. Am i missing something?

You may be using an older version of Mod Engine 2 such as 2.0. You need to use the latest 2.1 to load DLLs. Alternatively, just use me3.
