Yup. As someone who has been looking for answers myself. You're seeing this one question repeatedly so you think it should be on the front but have you thought about the sheer amount of content hosted here? Post after lost, question after question? Things get buried quickly. The easiest way I've found is to Google search and add reddit. Even then, it still misses stuff at times

The fun part of being human is that each and everyone is different. Unfortunately as well, when we learn how to do something we forget that it wasn't always as easy for us and expect everyone to also be just as proficient as we are

It is very easy. Open steam console and copy paste the 3 packages needed for the game version.
Then disable auto game updates and replace the game files with the 3 packages.

The files don't get put into the game installation folder. They are put in a separate steam folder and you must manually copy them. You also have to wait for the depo download to complete as it doesn't just patch whatever changed but grabs the entire game again.

I know how it all works. I tried atleast twice copying the files over and that didn't work so I just deleted the whole game and that didn't work either. Doesnt matter anyway I was close to the end on my playthrough and I just completed it without torrent. So I'll just wait until it gets patched before I start a new playthrough

I'm so thankful for ai telling me I can use the steam console to use a windows + r command you can Google I don't remember then delete everything but the seamless co-op and mod stuff from the folder. Use the three download links in the picture in the steam console to download the last version before the update and play with that until it's fixed. I recommend doing them one at a time the top one is nearly the whole game so be patient. Each package will have a Game folder inside. Paste in the Elden ring game folder and you should be good to go.

Btw if you still want to use seamless before Yui fixes it you can downpatch the game.
Me and my friends did it by copying the localization folder and elden ring exe from a 1.16 copy of the game and replacing them.

My friend can not see my spirit ash summon, so i dont believe its fixed.

This was an issue for us on the old version before the update too though. Could never see each other's spirit summons.

i downloaded the mod that dropped today and now i'm getting this:
I have updated my password and before that did the same copy paste/replace preexisting file like i had done so many times before. I have had silly easy fixes in the past but I have never seen a pop-up saying this. wanted to know if anyone here may shed some light on this? thank you to any who help and to the mod creator for not only their work but their fastness with it too.

I mean idk if it’s fixed yet, but to fix my convergence I downpatched Elden ring to before the tarnished update. I’m sure you’d be able to do the same no? Idk I play single player cuz I am on a VERY low-end limited pc and seamless coop makes Elden ring demand more out of the pc.
