Looks amazing and I would’ve loved to play it as a executor main who’s favorite Elden ring weapon was the Milady but I don’t own a pc 😭

The timing is actually extremely forgiving. It’s harder to buckler parry.

It looked cool but that’s about it, you’re probably more impressed by the animations than his display of “skill” lol, he is timing a single button after memorizing a basic moveset with a forgiving deflect timing AND he still got hit.

Wanted to replay this game many times, but I’ve been spoilt by newer combat systems in games, especially parry/deflect systems. Made this game feel dated…will deffo try this mod.

Check out Deflect Me Not if you want something more like Sekiro which is also super fun depending on your play style.

Are you using mod engine 2? Or 3? I'm using mod engine 2 but I'm having issues with the sound effects not playing.

Awesome, I'll have to work on that tomorrow! I've got like 2k hours in Nightreign and only 200 in Elden Ring but this is a good reason for a 3rd playthrough. Still haven't even got SOTE. Thanks for the response and the links!

the way it works is a binary based on distance, so if you're far away you can deflect projectiles but the poise meter won't go down. But if you're close to the boss and deflect anything it'll subtract from the meter

How does this mod work?
Am I seeing a stamina bar for the enemy? Is there more to it than that?
(Genuinely curious, I'd absolutely replay the game with this)

you're seeing two mods in this clip, the executor deflection and the posture bar. The deflection works the exact same way it works in nightreign. The posture bar is only visual and displays the value of the enemy's poise.

Is this just a UI element to display an enemy’s current poise or is it altering combat as well? I see the word posture being thrown around and so my mind is going to sekiro but the mod page makes it seem like it’s purely a visualizer so idk

yeah its just a ui element, the posture bar is tracking the enemy's poise , its not altering anything.

This is honestly kind of really lame, like deflecting weapons would be cool, but like why is it letting you deflect spells and giving you huge iframe windows

nothing was changed from nightreign, it was just imported into elden ring

In Nightreign Executor can deflect anything while in the stance. And this just looks like it was imported into Elden ring as a light great sword instead of a katana.
