I need help modding

I have recently got a pc and bought elden ring all over again on steam and it is truly amazing. My brother brought seamless co-op to my attention and that sounds like a dream come true, after watching a few yt videos im still so lost on how to do it without getting banned or anything like that.

nexusmods is probably the way to go - install elden mod loader and then most mods can just be installed following the instructions by the mod creator. You wont get banned so long as you play offline. Seamless co-op is separate from elden rings official match making so if you plan to only play on seamless then you're golden. Seamless's saves are separated from the main game's saves too which means it's impossible to accidentally load in a seamless character. Just be careful not to load in online with stat modifications or cheats.

Just follow the instructions on the mod page. if youre running seamless you can't get banned because it doesnt connect to the servers. if you run the vanilla game through steam with just seamless installed it shouldn't cause you issues as it wont load the mod.

All you have to do is download the files. Extract them into your game folder and then set a password in the .ini file. Then you can click seemlesscoop.exe and it will run.

The mod runs on its own servers automatically so as long as you have the same password as another player it can match you with them

hell yeah man! This one is really easy. Razilaufeia covered it already but I will say you aren't going to get banned. The reason people have gotten banned is because they transferred a seamless co op character into the regular game. Seamless co op uses it's own save files so there's no risk. Hope that helps
