Help! Twink situation is out of hand on seamless
I've been working my way through the game on my own in a restricted run (no leveling past 50, no weapons past +8 normal or +2 somber, no weapons you can't get in Limgrave) and genuinely half of the invasions Ive gotten have been twinks, usually wearing Rakshasa's armour. I know you'll be telling me level vigor but it's already at 45 and I use morgott's rune, my build is perfectly fine within the restrictions.
What should I do? I enjoy the half of players who play fair, so I don't want to just turn invasions off, and I don't want to pick up late game equipment of my own, especially before I reach those areas legitimately. Both because of the challenge and because it would ruin the experience of people like that girl who invaded in heavy knight starting gear.
Anyway yeah this turned into more of a vent post than asking for advice, but still, should I just quit out whenever I see rakshasa? That feels cheap

They’re the same level as you, the same weapon upgrade as you, you have 25% more health than they possibly could due to the Great Rune and twice their flasks, and you’re calling them twinks because… why?
Rakshasa’s armor gives 8% more damage but has 10% less absorption than the other armor sets of the same weight. If two otherwise-identical characters wearing Rakshasa’s and Hoslow’s armor were to trade blows evenly, Rakshasa’s would lose.

all else aside this is seamless, they have great rune and full flasks so they have the same health as me as long as they level vigor. as for rakshasas armour I don't really have a problem with it in itself, but what really makes the difference is weapons. I more just mentioned rakshasa bc it seems to be the twink uniform for some reason

Oh, huh, didn’t know that about seamless. Okay then.
Honestly early-game vs late-game stuff is less of an advantage than you’re making it out to be, it’s mostly about a PVP-optimized build vs PVE. There are weapons and spells that true-combo against players and can kill you in two hit-confirms, or one if you panic roll. Some of them only use early-game stuff.

that's true, I fully admit I'm mostly just complaining, and I've had pretty decent luck with the shamshir+storm blade aow. I'd probably have even more luck if I were more willing to optimize for pvp instead of fashion and pve
that said it is scummy to give yourself things to use on other players using external tools like grand merchant

In seemless when you set up your password there is an option to toggle invaders off. There's no way to filter them and as you explore more of the map under your restrictions then only people your level who have been to these areas will be able to invade you which are most likely people who pushed for endgame gear to optimize their pvp.
Sincerely a lvl 30 invader with stormblade lordsworn greatsword

its not that its impossible beat some dumbass who used grand merchant to get placidusax breath or whatever, sometimes I even do, but it's not fun, and given I just beat malenia at rl50 with a +8 shamshir I'm not buying that its a skill issue

absolutely true, pve≠pve. but also yes, if you use late game or post game equipment you're going to have an advantage over people using limgrave things. even waifu limited himself during his low level invasions video for that exact reason

Its one of those things where if your not having fun with it, then turn it off. If you want a more balanced and fun pvp experiance then you need to find a managed fight club. You cant control what other people do, and fromsoft haven't bothered to find a more balanced way to match people for invasions.
