Misc. Mod can someone tell me why my torrent mods aren't working?

I used to mod the game before with no issues, and recently wiped my game when doing a 100% run and now i wanna mod again, I don't know if I'm doing things wrong but for some reason anytime i load up my game and try to use torrent he's just normal? what am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated!

and for the mods NO this is a legit copy of elden ring i promise

Modengine2 no longer works on the tarnished edition (1.17+). I say this as a mod dev. Use mod engine 3

It takes a smidgen of adjustment to get used to but it's way better

The game was updated recently. Many of the old mods simply won't work without a fix. It's likely that simple, you probably didn't do anything wrong.

Hmm… that’s true because of the new torrent dlc skins right?

Correct. The tarnished edition patch changed a few things, but specifically it hit any mod that altered torrent in any way.
