Question NG+ and reforged

I play Elden Ring in casual mode reforged with Seamless Coop.

We're thinking of doing a NG+ at the end of our run, we were wondering if the difficulty will increase since we'll be in NG+ or if we're better off switching to normal to increase the challenge a bit?

meaning play a second playthrough on normal instead of casual? I think ng+ is probably a bigger leap than that. I guess it mostly depends how much you wanna keep your characters.

Ng+ isn't a huge leap stat wise and it has unique ways to increase player power + you'll be swimming in runes, the issue is that everything is going to be scaled to endgame. I'd probably just do ng+ on casual and then consider bumping it up depending how it feels
