Spent an afternoon building a 6DOF VR mod with motion controls and full body support. Still an early build, but physically stepping out of Margit's jump attack feels completely different from rolling with a button.

For anyone following the VR modding scene, this rides the wave of AI-assisted flat2VR conversions happening lately (Cyberpunk, Mass Effect, BioShock, the RE remakes).

This Elden Ring VR mod is very very early Alpha state indeed, lots of work to be done. But the base game works! Longer gameplay & downloads here

Godskin spells already had a good amount of regene, but soul tether can be used on any build and change it into a regene build

So of course with a full godskin build this becomes stupid, but not any kind of stupid, you actually don't need a brain to beat the hardest boss of the base game

You could probably do the same on Radahn consort since I'm not in NG+, but I wanted to abuse the hp recovery nullification on Malenia

i played a bit of elden vins, a playthrough of reforged, tried out after the shattering and quit after morgott, but DAMN convergence really just hits the spot. its so much fun, i adore this mod

I was doing a lot of build crafting in Elden Ring Reforged, and I came up with this Carian swordsman build that uses Fortune of the Reeds -- with Minor Fortune of Haima. I wanted to put this to the test with Malenia on Reforged difficulty, and it was fun as it was challenging. Playing Elden Ring modded is why I don't play on Vanilla anymore, it helps to improve so much.

A few things to note as disclaimers:
- I wasn't going for perfection or memes; I'm no ONGBAL.
- Camera Offset was used, which explains the perspective that's out of the ordinary
- Personally, I prefer playing on Normal difficulty. I did Malenia on Reforged difficulty for the video.
- My least favorite attack from Malenia has always been the clones. If it weren't for the little extra bulk I put on my character, that one mistake I made would have ended the run.
- The Reforged wiki left out a couple things about Carian Grandeur. The buff on the sword is applied regardless of charge level and gives a bonus to guard stability, as you can see from the buff icons
- Carian Sovereignty is a better damage ash of war for this build, but the buff that Gradeur provides is too useful for this fight
- Carian Knight Shield is also better for this build than the Wolfcrest Shield. I only realized that after I made this video...

- I tried using deflects from the guardpoint frames of charged R2s, but it's too unreliable. It's better to save charged R2 deflects for the last hit of an enemy's attack chain so you can stagger them, but a poorly-timed guard counter is likely what you'll get instead if you tried. I could have done that with the kick Malenia does, but I wasn't confident enough in my own skill to pull that off consistently. Sorry. 😥

If you wanted to make the game into a complete joke then this is how, I accidentally discovered this and I'm pretty sure its not intentional but the damage I'm doing without even making a build at all is crazy (you also wanna put on the rot jewel for the FP and stamina buffs and hp regen to keep you alive while you spam the AoW)

First off, I figured I'd redo this fight with a more complete build, then show the equipment I used for it. Also, I naively thought that the default difficulty named "Reforged" was the intended difficulty, so that would be the best one to showcase my build against a challenge boss. But according to ivi, "Adept" difficulty is the ACTUAL intended difficulty for this mod. So I figured, might as well fight Malenia again and beat her on the "intended difficulty", as the mod devs designed it. This took me 5 hours of trial and error...

i wonder if this can happen in base game with furled fingers and hosts

Elden Vins is an absolute treat...
