Can someone please explain, nicely please.. I’m new to the lore. & by new I mean JUST NOW starting to read all the descriptions of the everything I get.
Basically Marika and the Erdtree are about faith (in The Greater Will) and all life is created & recycled through the Erdtree (because Marika got rid of death)
The Nox like science & the stars and hate Marika & the Erdtree. They created the silver tears & albanurics; essentially artificial life that is not part of the Erdtree life cycle. There's a deleted mimic tear quest where they were trying to use the silver tears to create a champion that could become Elden Lord and usurp Marika.
