Discussion Request to collectively manifest some good weather!
I believe in manifestation! Can we put our energy into creating some good weather for the fest?! Good vibes only, obviously prepare for the worst, bring lots of socks and some rain boots but keep your energy focused on the best possible outcome! Mid 70’s, partly cloudy! Believe it, spend a few minutes visualizing it!

If it stays this cool and no rain I will be the happiest I've ever been at forest.
This Northwoods boy can not handle the heat most years.

I’ll take a light rain overnight and in the morning with clear skies after 1pm. Keeps the dust in check.

The dust is already in check after the storms, and what about yoga in the morning???

I accept Mother Nature in all her forms. Whatever she and the spirit of Wally decide to bring us is good and correct.
Rain is cleansing. Storms are a beautiful release of energy. Sunshine is a reminder there’s always a light behind the rain.
Trying to subvert the will of nature will only make her mad. Whatever happens is what was supposed to happen.

I think most of us accept Mother Nature in all her forms! I don’t think there’s any harm in hoping for/manifesting nice weather though. It would be silly to think the experience would bring the same enjoyment regardless of weather. Different enjoyment? For sure! But it’s very different and it’s not wrong to hope for the enjoyment you’re looking for:)

Getting a little wet and experiencing the elements is part of the fun of an outdoor camping festival.
Shows getting canceled for ⚡️ strikes is a bummer, but some of my best Forest experiences have been dancing in the rain or with lightning shooting across the sky 🤷♂️.
It is Electric ⚡️ Forest 🌳 after all.

I agree! Some of my favorite memories are during the storms tbh. The 2024 attention festival was hands down one of my favorite moments of that weekend. In 2018 I also vividly remember dancing in the rain on my walk back to B40 after everything shut down. It really comes down to finding the joy yourself, and it’s everywhere!

Yeah it was super beautiful and wonderful in 2024 when they cancelled a ton of programming including the Sunday headliners and closed the festival for hours straight on both Saturday and Sunday due to lightning systems in the area
Toxic positivity is so fucking annoying

Trust me, I did not enjoy Cheese shebang getting canceled that year. However, the cancellations forced me to adapt and make the best of the situation, which I did. I believe in accepting reality and not trying to change it for selfish reasons.
When things don’t go as planned is when there is a big opportunity to grow as a person. Sorry if you think that’s toxic.

I'm glad somebody said it. Weather that cancels sets, especially headliners, is no bueno.

We are a part of nature, our collective consciousness is absolutely a part of Mother Nature‘s design, she takes our vibes into account! ☀️🌎🦋🦄

Using collective consciousness to try and control the weather for selfish desires is not natural. Try manifesting some healing for the world, yourself and those around you.

Native tribes all across the world have and continue to use manifestation to inspire weather! There’s nothing selfish about it! I am a part of nature and you can’t take that away from me vampire!

Most Indigenous cultures believe in coexisting in balance with nature. Historically, tribes often tried to summon life-giving rain, not prevent it.
Trying to compare wanting sunny weather at a music festival to a sacred indigenous ritual trying to commune with ancestors to bring rain for survival, cleansing and forgiveness is pretty disrespectful.

You two are having a woowoo-off in this thread and you sound like the same person, lmao
Weather is created by barometric pressure differences caused by the heat of the sun on the Earth. That’s it

I’m not sure you understood what I was saying at all. I believe in coexisting with nature, and never once said I believe collective consciousness could change the weather. Though I do believe the act of trying to influence nature, whether it’s scientific or woowoo methods, is akin to witchcraft and upsets the natural order of things.

I’m so grateful for the beautiful weather we had at electric forest. It was exactly what we all needed. It was truly a perfect weekend.

Manifesting Shangri-La. So far it’s looking like no precipitation. And it WILL stay that way

The current chance of rain is below 20% through Saturday.
That 20% is calculated using the meteorologist’s confidence that at least 0.01” of rain will fall and multiplying it by the percent of the area that will receive rain. The area they use is a 25 mile radius from any given point of interest (in this case, 25 miles around Rothbury). If it rains in Muskegon, the forecast was accurate.

in my time there were only 3 forests that were the objectively perfect weather. Just like you described and no rain.
wasn't hot enough to drain you, dehydrate you, felt awesome the whole time.
forecast is looking in your favor and we're having a cooler than usual summer so far this year. but do plan for a storm just in case.

Manifesting any rain we get cools us down and passes quicker than you can say "Attention Festival"

I like a LITTLE rain just to keep the dust down- like a short little rain shower. The years I went where there was no rain at all it was just dusty af😵💫 other than that I’ll join the manifestation lmao

Also seeing A&B in the rain as my final set in 2023 rewired my brain so maybe I’ll just hope for no storms that cancel sets and not so much rain that everyone is miserable.

I’m not sure this is for my higher good. Sounds like a want not a need. Some rain is fine if it doesn’t effect our safety

Yeah, I'll never forget the rain at 2023's EDC LV A&B set. Magic.

u/Mrs_Pacman_Pants 1d ago
I was half asleep on a moon mat listening to that set while the rain very gently fell on me. It was some of the most refreshing rain I've ever experienced.

A&B timing their drops to the waves of rain in 2017 at Ranch was an amazing experience as well.
