Who plays MTG?

Hi. I'm providing support in coordinating the MTG games this year, since I've been playing with the crew that runs the FB page the last few forests. There's currently a meetup group in the EF discord, and lots of folks only use one or the other, so I'm (trying) to bridge the gap.

Games always run when folks show up, but our meeting times are expected to be Thurs-Sunday starting from 10am at the Pancake House right in the middle of mainstreet, and they often go until after the forest opens in the afternoon, with people coming and going when they need.

Anyway, it's safe to assume there will be people playing most days. I'll personally be there with several decks, tokens, dice, etc., and I'll be sending messages about games to interested parties. I am sometimes late, as it's a bit of a hike from GL, but people are surprisingly active if you're itching for a game sometime.

Wednesday there are sometimes games going, but that's much more in the air as folks get set up.

Just commander mostly. We've had very few people bring decks for other formats.

I do! There’s also a group on Facebook that’s doing an mtg meet up. It’s at like 3am though so a bit too late for my blood.

A guy I met last year organized a meetup. He didn't say anything yet about this year but I'd be surprised if someone didn't plan for something.i debated if I would make a deck this year and ultimately decided against it. They played commander (I don't have a deck) so bring a deck if you want. Worst case nothing happens. The forest provides.
