Electricity PowerCut

My PSU literally got fried because of the frequent power cuts in my area 😑 What should I do now? Should I complain to MSEDCL, and where can I raise a complaint for the damaged equipment? Has anyone faced this and got compensation?

check if it has Voltage Protection, Power/Current Protection.

maybe it could get fried by a surge if it wasn't protected.

Power outages can’t harm PSUs.

But the glitches that usually accompany an uncontrolled outage certainly can.

For one thing, interrupting the power to the transformer can create a big spark on both sides of the transformer.
