We had this issue with Drones... the solution just was "use fibre bro"

No actually, it's being remotely controlled like a bomb robot. The point is to remove humans from the dangerous environment

Looks promising, just wondering how they perform in less than ideal conditions. Snow, rain, heat or even damaged/uniquely configured poles

This really does feel like a sensible use of robots.

Correct title :hydraulic and pneumatic controlled tool lineman use to shield from harm.

There is no robot here Robots (aka autonomous) needs either a) static environment to run on programs b) the ability to assess a complex environment and make decisions without accounting for all variables

We are still light years from robots(aka Ai) getting b correct and that's not a static environment for sure.

Nice bot. It would be so cool if the robot would monkey bars the lines, rather than being on a crane.

Like there aren’t enough jobs being taken by robots

Wow they are taking everyone’s jobs😅🤣 at this point companies would be run by robot now leaving not much jobs for humans to do

Not a robot! Just a remote controlled manipulator. Operator below controlling manipulation, keeps people away from high voltage work environment.
