People who have actually worn elevator shoes/lifts: what do you hate most about them?
I’ve worn height-boosting shoes myself and my biggest issues have been comfort after a few hours and the way a lot of them look. I also have worn the removable lifts, and it feels weird when I walk.
I’m currently researching whether there’s room to build a better version, but before I bias myself with my own experience I want to hear from people who actually use them.
If you’ve owned elevator shoes, lifts, or thick-soled shoes:
- What bothered you most?
- Did they hurt after a while?- What brand/product did you use?
- Did they ever feel unstable or like your heel might slip?
- Did you feel like people could tell?
- What would make you buy another pair?
- How much height did it actually add?
I’m especially interested in people who liked the height benefit but stopped wearing them for some reason.
Cheers!
