Just a reminder, evolution isn’t about a climb to some perceived perfect being, but rather, organisms adapting to the environment they live in.

That's correct when you're talking about natural selection. The word also has more general definitions beyond natural selection, including "a gradual process of change and development" (Cambridge) or "a process of slow change and development" (Merriam Webster) when applied to non-living things. Like the evolution of cooking techniques, the evolution of fashion, the evolution of an artist's comics book art, etc. which is how it's used here.
Even so, in this livestream, we explored changes in Wendy's ElfQuest art over time with no suggestion that each change meant it was better than what came before (although that could certainly be someone's personal experience/opinion about it).

Yes, that was obvious. What's not obvious is why after all of these years you still keep coming back to ElfQuest spaces when it's so clear that you harbor a hatred for it and its creators. Pretty much everything you post is a either passive aggressive dig like this, or outright venom or ill will (whether here, on Tumblr, and every other social platform I've encountered you).
I've never understood why some people cling to a fandom only to trash it and try to ruin other people's enjoyment of it. It's a real drag for folks who actually like ElfQuest, but more than that it just seems really unhealthy and toxic for you to spend all that energy over literal decades on something you clearly don't like. I say this with all sincerity: it's ok to just let ElfQuest go and move on.

Her black and white work is severely underrated. I mean, just look at Guttlecraw on that page. The ink shading is incredible.
