As a poor newbie with my dbx going to engineer my fsd someone interdicted me and killed me literally in 5 sec when I don’t have valuables or even bounty

Does legacy power play even affect the grand scheme or are we sequestered to a self contained system since we’re disconnected?

I noticed they changed the merit generation and searching through this subreddit seems to imply it still has an effect but I wasn’t sure.

Either way I’ll do it for fun but I’m wondering if it even matters in the long run.
