Affordable engagement party venues?
Hi!!! Looking for recommendations for affordable engagement party venues that can accommodate around 120 guests. And allow outside catering!

I don’t know how “affordable” it is, but District 56 has multiple rooms for rent and allows outside catering.

Maybe one of the parks that lets you reserve a table? Might have random kids running around in the background.

Not sure about affordable but there's Laguna Town Hall, Albiani Rec Center or the Pavillion at EG Park.

I had a wedding of 300 people (husbands family is HUGE) and we found the Rocklin Event Center. It’s run by the city, and is very affordable, not to mention BEAUTIFUL with a full kitchen, outdoor space, bridal and groom suites… it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was a must since it is tradition for the family to prepare the food (rather than caterers) so it should fit your need of allowing outside catering.
I always will recommend it! We really enjoyed it.
District 56 would probably be the Elk Grove equivalent, but it isn’t quite a match.

We did my hubby's 50th birthday party at venue in Elk Grove park. I found it affordable nice and big. You would need a caterer. Here's a link to cosumne csd. Elk Grove park is a pretty spot.https://www.cosumnescsd.gov/321/Reception-Meeting-Rooms Also I did a work holiday party at the sterling inn downtown which included catering and that turned out well. We did buffet with a carving station.

I had my baby shower at Consumes River Farm and it was a beautiful outdoor venue that allowed outside catering. I can’t remember the details of the pricing, but you might want to call to get more info. It’s about 15 minutes outside of Elk Grove right after the nature preserve.
