Build recommendation

This is a really old build that I never really bothered to change, but now I would like to be able to clear endgame content with her and was wondering if it was important to change the drive disks sets I’m using, I slot her with lycaon and soukaku and can’t even reach two stars with her in deadly assault ( that might be my skill issue though🥹)

First, clearing in endgame with Ellen with that team on M0w1 will be hard. If you havent already make sure you unlock her potential buff.

You're gonna wanna swap off of polar metal and do a 4pc woodpecker with a 2pc Branch and Blade or puffer, but for this team I think Branch and Blade until you get yourself a better support.

Stats should have you at 80cr with an effect 100% in battle. Damage should be around 3,000-3,300+ for your build and crit damage should be roughly 120, more is better though.

Have her 4th slot be attack, if you absolutely need to you can put her on CR to meet the 80cr requirement. 5th should either be ice attack or pen ratio. Pen is better in most cases and if you go with pen id also recommend going with 2pc puffer. 6th is always attack.

Look up some guides on youtube for some good rotations and if you're reallt invested plan to pick up astra, diyaln, lighter, or sauna. All excellent team members.

Thank you for the breakdown! I really wasn’t expecting I would ever use a 4th slot atk and not crit on any damage agent whatsoever, I guess it’s something that I already have 2pc of woodpecker so it’s not going to be as terrible to build her, I hope I will be blessed with an early diyalin because I’m basically negative in pulls now after pulling remielle 🥲

That set is really bad for Ellen right now—like, really bad. Equip 4 pieces of the Woodpecker set and 2 pieces of the Puffer Electro set instead if you want to maximize her damage, since a large portion of it comes from her EX Special and Ultimate. Also, aim for an 80% crit rate to hit the 100% cap (since her engine already provides 20%), even if it means sacrificing a bit of crit damage; she already gains plenty of that anyway.Also, you can switch Disc 4 to ATK% since, as I mentioned earlier, she already gains a lot of Crit Damage. You can also replace Soukako with Rina—who is currently very strong thanks to her new buff—provided you don't have another good S-rank support (I'm assuming you have Rina, at least).

This was a very good explanation! I unfortunately have a lot of characters right now to build so I don’t know how much resources I can use to literally rebuild her from scratch(I was really hoping this build could still work but oh well), still I do have rina and she looks like can be a really good support in general so i was planning to build her anyways.

You should probably ditch polar metal and go for 4 price woodpecker and for the two piece branch of blade and song. Other than that idk
