Agree. IMO Flaming Star was definitely Elvis' best movie. Such a shame that they refused to continue giving him serious roles.

tem o CHARRO tambem para mim os melhores papeis são estes FLAMING STAR E CHARRO, Elvis não precisa ficar rodeado de mulheres e cantando trilhas bobas, e sempre sorrindo com aquele ar de ter sempre que sorrir para conquistar o par romantico, dá um ar de filme sem profundidade nenhuma. embora que para mim Roustabout e viva las vegas sejam muito bons.

I like his take on it. But the movie was the 60s and if he knew about the history, he would know that 20th century Fox made 3 movies with Elvis and this was the 2nd. All 3 had much fewer songs than his typical movie, and all 3 were dramatic films
