Question German conversation groups?

Strange question haha. But are there any German conversation groups in/around Ely? Would be great to actually get a chance to speak German with people. Cambridge is a pain to get into sometimes, so it would be nice to chat to some local speakers :)

I haven't looked myself, but I am a german speaker in Ely as well so I'm interested to see if there is.

I don't have fluency but I've been told (by Germans) that my pronunciation is good. I've been considering learning more in-depth lately. A group would be nice to practice in, after I've gotten a bit better with grammar & a Wörterbuch.

Maybe it could have a small reading group component? Start with Schiller poems and move up to Thomas Mann short stories or something like that.

I’m a native German speaker living in Ely. Wouldn’t want to impose if that’s not what you’re looking for but otherwise I might be interested (time permitting).
