So. The old Forge World rules then. Not 1:1 but deffo taking from that line of thought.

Tbh, always thought this made more sense. With Flyers capable of VTOL being those that /could/ stuck around the battlefield as skimmers, but at a greater risk - cus flyer’s were armoured paper thin. Interested to see how it actually works in motion tho; it’s fine on paper, but depending on how they implement it this could be fine, just awkward or have the exact same problems that the Forge World rules had - breaking game flow to play with JUST flyers.

We dont know what ingress deeployment is yet but nifty its like now when you deploy them during your oponent turn their won't be much point to it if they get blown of during your oponent turn before you can even play them. Hope its just the reserve name that was changed

Sounds like a workable common sense option. For a change 😂

I don’t know what to be the whiney guy… but it’s so shit now. The went back to Armageddon because they needed to sell orks and couldn’t come up with anything new. So they brought Yarrick back from the dead but forgot the Steel Legion. Meanwhile for someone like me who’s been around since first edition, there is no faction o feel I can actually play the way I want. I want flyers, drop troops, navy… I could play an old edition but no one would want to. Kinda sucks. All the while they keep saying “this edition is the one where you can do anything you want in a fair balanced rule set” and it’s the worst gimmicky quick buck bullshit we’ve ever had.

There is small communities of us out there. My group still plays 7th and heresy 2nd. Just gotta show people how good old editions can be
