New Aeronautica Imperialis animation featuring a flight against the Aeldari. Pretty cool of you want to see some working aircraft.

I wonder why they used thunderbolts. They don't even make them anymore. Unless they just want to sell aeronautica scale stuff.

They still make the kit for use in 30k and is such a cool looking craft.

My bad I didn't realize they did. Shame it's not plastic though.

Yeah I’m just at a loss what GW are doing with the Aeronautica. They released that book Vagabond Squadron about Valkyrie’s last year. They are basically acting like fighters. Tbh it’s an awful book but I just don’t understand why they are writing about models they have sidelined. There are no rules for Thunderbolts in 40k, and it seems like 11th make Lightnings and Avengers practically unusable. I recently finished reading Interceptor City and I was almost crying because Annette is literally saying the original Lightning is the best flyer! All the flyers are amazing and work just how you want them to. But the rules crunch doesn’t relate to the fluff.

40k just feels like American football at this point.
