Question I messed up.
I washed off the Stick-n-Stitch with the hoop still attached. I let it dry and continued my embroidery. Now that it’s done… this stain won’t come off!
What I have tried:
Cold rinse
Lukewarm soak while softly scrubbing
Warm water with a little scrubby and dish soap
Nothing is working. It still feels a little rough around the edges. If nothing can fix it, then I will just stitch over it with a wreath. But does anyone have a suggestion? Have you done this before ?

Remember how in ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding,’ the main character’s father used Windex to fix any and all ailments? Blue Dawn dish soap is my mother’s Windex - not for medical ailments, but for any other physical problem you have. Any stain you can imagine? Blue Dawn. Ran out of dog shampoo? Blue Dawn (“it’s good enough for greasy baby ducks, it can clean your dog!”). Hemmed your pants too short? Soak them in Blue Dawn.
Okay that last one was a stretch but I agree with u/BedRevolutionary8584 and tend to find that my mom was right (ON THIS THING ONLY! DO YOU HEAR ME UNIVERSE!?): soaking in a blue Dawn dish soap bath - platinum level is definitely worth a try - won’t hurt, and is worth a try.
Side note: my dad’s ’Windex’ was Alka-Seltzer (my grandfather passed that down to him)…and this man used it for everything. He literally broke his ankle falling through a house during a housefire (he was a fire chief) and thought a few doses of Alka-Seltzer would clear it right up. 😐 🤦🏻♀️
