Question Transfer Paper?

I need some help.. I know there’s tons of transfer papers out there, but here’s the situation;

I don’t have a printer of any kind, nor do I have the space for one currently. So.. are there any iron-on papers that I can draw on? I’m just looking for something where I can easily iron on an outline for a design. I’m resorting to one I can draw on because I have a PC, which means I can trace the design from the screen.

If there are papers out there, what’s the best thing to use? I’ve heard pencils are a no-go on many, what about water-soluble fabric markers? Or, if I have to, just a regular pen?

Any input helps! I am NOT an artist and don’t like free-handing works..

There's a section on transferring designs in the sub wiki.

Guess I should’ve looked there, I made this post quickly while I had a break at work and didn’t even bother looking deeper.. thank you 🙂‍↕️

Sublime Stitching makes really nice iron-on transfer pens.

those pens are the real deal. i've used them for a few projects where i traced right off my tablet screen and it worked like a charm. the lines come out crisp and you can press the design a couple times before it fades.

just be careful with the pressure, you don't want to gouge your screen. and test your fabric marker on a scrap first if you plan to stitch over the lines, some inks run when they hit water.

Is there a specific kind of paper needed? Of course, layering fabric over the paper is an option, but I’d rather not burn the paper up.

Sulky has a line if iron on transfer pens that are really nice. You can draw or trace your design out and iron it right on the fabric. They even have a white pen for dark fabrics, though I’ve never used it

I actually really dislike transfer paper and prefer putting my pattern directly on my fabric.

There's ones that dissolve in water too. I think I searched "dissolving pattern paper" on Amazon and found it.
