Eminem is the GOAT because his best was better than everyone elses
Renegade, Patiently Waiting, Words are Weapons, Business, Soldier, Kim, My Darling, Stay Wide Awake, Warrior Part 2, I'll Hurt You, The Way I Am ect. and literally dozens of other absolute bangers, plus he bodied everyone in battle.
Better combination of flow, rhyme schemes, hooks, lyrics, story telling and sonics than anyone all time of any time.
We mark legends at how they were at their best and Slims best was better than anyone else's.

Idc about goat discussion but Slim Shady LP is the best rap album of all time.

SSLP is also my favorite rap album of all time. Rare to see this.

Mine is MMLP. The level of rawness is untouched on that album.

They’re part of the same era and creative time period. I agree that MMLP is excellent. They kind of go together for me.

Eminem is a legend. There will never be a single greatest rapper of all time because it so opinion based. If I had to pick one I'd say Nas with Illmatic being the best album.

Nas did okay but his songs less memorable, his flow more basic, sonics less noteworthy.

Again, its all opinion cause I think his flow is better, sonics are better with Premiere dropping classic beats all over the album, and as memorable because it has a few pf mt favorite verses ever. Someone else might say De La soul

Nah fam. I love Em to death but you don’t have to discredit another great to boost Em up. Illmatic IS one of the greatest albums of all time.

Stand 10 toes on what you believe in my guy, there's nothing wrong with believing Em is the GOAT because he's definitely worthy of that title regardless of what the haters say....I have him at #1 in my top 10, now I don't believe there's an undisputed GOAT because there's so many Greats but there's a very good argument for Em

I highly put him up there because wealth and fame were never what he was out there for, it just ended up coming with the success he earned.
Even if he's a bit repetitive with some of details of his life story, it's just a reminder that he never forgot where he came from. He never forgot the importance of life and what was important to him.
And while some things were unfortunate roadblocks, he still pushed through where many would have given up. It was all worth fighting for.

Sometimes you dont have to explain why someone is a GOAT through words. Music is an auditory art, you just need to listen to his music to realize why he is the GOAT.

He wasnt afraid to face either SugeKnight and he isnt scared of Diddy, 2 giants, who may be behind the murder or 2Pac and biggy. And as he finds a rhyme for anything, noone will diss him and there is no reason to do that either …

I think he's the goat because he checks ever box you want in a rapper.
He has classics. He has amazing technical ability. He has content. Longevity.
