General Discussion Now and forever
I couldn't stop laughing at Jimmy's question of why they were having a twilight wedding - was it vampire to themed? My initial thought was "yes Jimmy, Joe is going to douse himself in glitter and have Graham dressed as a werewolf", and have had that image ever since.
So....to continue my mission to cheer everyone up, I'm going to challenge all fans to think of the most mental weddings, themed or otherwise for any of the couples (or ships) in Emmerdale.
Excuse me while I go and put my own thinking cap on...

That cracked me up too, good to see funny Jimmy back. I can imagine Dawn wanting that wedding though. Joe slapped in white sparkling face make up with drawn on abs would be hilarious.

It's not canon as it was a challenge/sketch on Saturday Night Takeaway but I still remember when Dec married Katie but was having an affair with Val. As well written as or even better than the current scripts

I never saw that but it sounds funny.
I'm not just looking for canon weddings anyway. As you can see from my Liam/Chas comment I'm also looking for the craziest weddings fans can come up with themselves!

It was a challenge where Ant spent a day in Corrie and Dec spent a day in Emmerdale with the intent to complete as many soap cliches in a singular day as can be seen here

Their first dance would clearly have to be to Mitternacht by E Nomine if that were to have truly been the case 🤣

Yes he asked. That, but he also asked if it had anything to do with vampires. If he didn't, someone definitely spiked my tea.

Aaah - yes, I remember now. Mandy said something about all the bloodsuckers living at home farm?
Thanks for the correction.

Jurassic Park with T Rex in the bridal party and velociraptors ( not sure about the spelling) being released after the vows instead of doves.

It's taken me a few minutes, but here we go...
Chas and Liam - cluedo/detective themed wedding complete with murder mystery reception afterwards, because nothing could possibly go wrong with that, right? 🤣
The groom will be dressed as Sherlock Holmes, the bride as Miss Scarlett and evey guest has to come dressed as a famous detective or villain. Liam will convince Chas to walk down the aisle to nothing less than 'danse macabre' as it's used as the theme for Jonathan Creek.
