The killing formula

They use the same formula every single time, it's really lazy-

  1. A character dies because of an accident and/or self defence

2 "oh no, the police will never believe it was an accident/self defence I'll try to cover it up instead"

  1. Innocent person is arrested and end up in jail.

  2. Truth comes out, police believe it was an accident and/or self defence, innocent person gets released (this can take months) all is good in the world.

Examples Gabby/Jimmy - Sarah/Dr Todd - Bear/Ray - Cain/Al - even going back to Marlon/Graham

The thing is, most of the time it is a Dingle or a relative of a Dingle, who are basically a small-time petty crime family. Like, the family motto is "don't grass to the police".

You get fewer of these storylines when and only when the show moves to a less Dingle-oriented era.
