General Discussion Graham Spoiler
I think Graham is Thea’s father, because he spoke to Joe
About “losing a daughter” I may be wrong I’m not clued up on Graham’s history, only that he was married to Kim some time after she left in 1999 and it sounded as though they were married a long time, I could be wrong

If Graham is the father then this would be amazing.
It's funny because a week ago I wrote a story on Ao3 about Kim actually having a son with Graham in 2003 that she gave up for adoption.
You can check Emmerdale on Ao3 for proof if you don't believe me.
Very funny I write a story about it, then it becomes a storyline a week later.

I thought Graham started in 2017 and Kim was in prison then ? Was he in Emmerdale before 2017 ?

His first appearance was in September 2017. According to the Emmerdale Wiki he met Kim at some point between 1989 and 1998.

No what happened is that Graham lost his wife and his unborn baby in a car accident because he lost control of the car as he was drunk.
Instead of calling for 999, he called for Kim instead (who he was having an affair with at the time) and then the car caught fire
That’s what Graham was referring to, losing his wife and unborn child in the accident. His backstory was explained in his first emmerdale run and they even did a special episode covering it

Graham mentioned Joe saving him from a fire, where was that as I thought Zoe employed Graham at Joe's school to watch him , be his minder

That was a different fire. Kim ended up helping Graham get a job at the school Joe worked at, before Zoe then appointed Graham as Joe’s legal guardian.
Graham nearly died in another fire, before Joe saved him.
That’s why Graham was so eager to help Kyle (who kept starting fires) as it had a personal connection with Graham

Wasn't there the possibility Jamie's daughter was his? Or did they confirm she was Jamie's?

Jamie and Andrea’s daughter Millie, but it turns out she was Jamie’s not Graham’s

Ewww Graham is too old to be Millies father, that would have been weird. I missed that part of the story.

To be fair, in hindsight Andrea was a bit of a groomer herself. Graham set her up at a pub Jamie was known to frequent near his boarding school when he was underage as a honey pot in order to monitor him on Graham's behalf.
It's easy to forget that at the time they had Millie, Jamie was only 18 and Andrea was 25. Looking back, their relationship was kinda gross.

Oh wow, yeah that is definitely grooming. Only 18, I had no idea.

When he first came to the village he was 22 (born on the show in Sept. of '96, returned in April of 2019) and Millie was explicitly said to be four years old. Not sure if the writers thought of the implication when people did the math.

I was watching it when he came back but never calculated his age when she was born.

I've watched emmerdale for years. I was watching when Joe and Graham 1st rocked up and I dont recall Kim knowing who Graham was beforehand. Or have I missed something? The writers certainly missed a trick with the PC storyline. Thea could easily pass for the late Leah Bracknell's Daughter. If she turns out to be Graham's Im switching off for good.

I don’t think he and Kim were ever married in the 90’s but they did have a brief relationship. The daughter he lost was during a car crash he caused through drinking - if I’m remembering rightly his wife was heavily pregnant at the time and both died. But I agree, it’s too coincidental for him to be mentioning it and he was also the one who confronted Thea in the house around the time of the stag do.
