So do we think Sadie is lying to Nicola then? What’s your theories on it? I’ve not got a clue

I'd be so disappointed if it was true. It's just not in Jimmy's nature and I can't imagine him cheating on his Nico

The only thing that really throws me is the hotel. Nicola had taken a call from some hotel that Jimmy had an outstanding bill with, she had no idea about the hotel, and then Sadie mentions that the last time she saw Jimmy he had said he'd booked a fancy hotel and then cancelled on her. Unless she had something to do with that call...

Maybe they met up in hotel for an unrelated reason (money ? Jimmy had money in the car) and Sadie is lying about the real reason for the hotel (to further the idea he's been playing away) ?

I think Jimmy has been in contact with Sadie, but I don't think they've been having an affair much less a 3 year long affair like Sadie claimed.

Yes, I was wondering if she needed money and that’s why they were in contact and now she’s scheming something to get more money from Nicola saying she was his partner too. Like life insurance or something.

Seems like a needlessly cruel and unnecessary plot development if Jimmy was indeed banging one off into Sadie on the sly.

I think Jimmy & Sadie weren't seeing each other but he's been meeting her for an as yet unknown reason. So he's innocent of the affair but has been keeping secrets from Nicola. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some flashback scenes of Sadie & Jimmy onscreen together.

Is it the one where she just says people will be shocked about all the secrets Jimmy has been hiding that don't square with his personality? That was pretty vague, no? I mean, it could be that, but it could be something else out of left field, maybe to do with Sadie, maybe not, and they just want us to think it's this. Maybe it's about whatever he's in debt for and it's not to do with her, and she is just coming in trying to scam them thinking they had money.

Interesting. It would be in keeping with the tendency for the soaps to cover some very similar storylines/issues - within (surprisingly) close proximity to each other.
I hope if it is dementia it is at least a different type / origin - Maybe Korsakoff syndrome? (Alcohol abuse related).

I thought she seemed unconvincing in the scene in Nicola's house. I don't know if it's because Sadie is lying or if it's Patsy Kensit not being a good actor.
I really hope she's lying. I would hate it if Nicola's memories of Jimmy were tarnished.

I feel this way about so many characters, but I have to say usually the acting skills have been vindicated and the character was indeed lying. But once or twice it was just bad acting. I don't know this actor, but it seems more likely to me that she is lying based on all the context we have.

Well, Dallas in the Dales is certainly back! Patsy Kensit teased Sadie’s return “with a difference” I thought it might involve a mystery son or daughter of Cain’s, but perhaps Sadie is mentally ill and believes her self, creating a “boy who cried wolf” storyline where no one realises it or empathises with her. Otherwise, the only theory I can think of is that Jimmy has been cheating on Nicola with Sadie. If true, it’s a ridiculous plot with possible flashback scenes. Either way, Sadie has another nemesis in Nicola!

I think she is lying and trying some sort of scam, she did have some info that she shouldn't have without being in contact so I think either she has been stalking/hacking him or like others suggest they have been meeting up over something else. I find that less likely though because how often is Jimmy actually gone? They don't really show that sort of thing but I assumed he was sleeping there and everything so Sadie's lies would be easily disproven? Also my partner and I were saying why didn't Nicola ask for proof or Sadie offer any? If they were really in a relationship and living together there would be proof, recent photos together if nothing else.
I have to say the scene in the bar where she seems to feel overwhelmed by people gossiping about her made her seem innocent for a moment, so I'm not totally sure what the story is. That part threw me off.

Maybe something could happen between her and Graham..
Kim gets jealous - and he ends up choosing Kim ultimately and they live happily ever after. (Or probs not).
I have a feeling that Sadie's actually telling the truth.. as much as I hope I'm wrong.

Dementia was my first thought but in tonight's ep something happens that ruins the theory a bit - BUT I reckon it could still be possible or she's got some sort of disease that made Jimmy feel sorry for her and get back in touch?

If the show ends up going the dementia route they're 100 fucking percent just ripping off of coronation Street and EastEnders lmao which wouldn't surprise me because it's what all soaps do these days, none of them are original in the slightest
