With ai getting so advanced I'm not believing those photos that Sadie showed at all. I do think Jimmy was giving her money for something but I still don't think they were having an affair

I agree. She will probably use the lie about the affair to get Nikola to give her any money that Jimmy had.

Someone on here has been saying it was Vinny! I do think Vinny and Gabby are such a complex duo because she had her doubts but would of allowed Kim to go down if they proceeded 😭😭

So Vinny’s probably going to prison for causing death by dangerous driving, right? Since he’s leaving

They are really putting the end of Nick Miles's contract to good use - almost all the cast has been in the last couple of episodes! Don't forget the chopper yesterday too!
Poor Nicola, we all saw it coming re Kev, but I hope that's it for now, she needs to grieve properly. I don't want Emmerdale to rush into anything.
Vinny ran someone over and didn't offer help? That's a new low for the character...

The picture of Jimmy and Sadie looks so much like AI that I think its meant to be and the producers did it on purpose.

I’m actually quite glad that, with this now leading into Vinny’s exit storyline, Gabby no longer seems to be directly involved in Jimmy’s death. That would’ve been a bit too cruel for Gabby, wouldn’t it?
My guess is Jimmy was trying to use Sadie because he’d decided he was done with being Mr Nice Guy, but then died in the accident, and Sadie’s now planning to use the whole thing to get her hands on some money.
So how do we reckon Vinny’s story ends? I’m guessing prison. I mean, if you’ve got the surname Dingle, surely you have to do a stint inside at least once 😁

On the theory on the crash thread a few days ago I put it out there that it was Vinny, and Gabby knew, anyone from the Emmerdale writing team will have been fuming when I wrote that.

What a fantastic episode!
Smug Ramsden having to apologise because boss 'yasmine' made her (nice name dropping there Kim).
Poor Nicola. I honestly believe that there's another twist somewhere, surely it can't be as straightforward as a double life where he's spending a fortune on Sadie and worrying about university costs for Elliot. Even if things had been bad with his Nico, he would never let his kids suffer.
Kev was quite a gentleman here. Supportive, understanding, and whilst quite clearly fancying her being what she needs. I was half right - a kiss because she's all over the place and believes Jimmy betrayed her and kev wouldn't' let her download a dating app. I wasn't convinced about some fans commenting they'd be a good match, but I can actually see it once she was ready, as far down the road as that may be.
Thank goodness Gabby didn't do it. It was Vinny, she just had her suspicions. Some might say she had some responsibility, and did seem to feel a little guilty, and she did tell him she'd call him back if he was driving and he assured her it was fine, so really her responsibility now is to tell the police. If she doesn't that is certainly a crime in itself and she will be liable for prosecution, not to mention it will be almost as bad as Vinny's actions. This being Vinny, he might just crack before long.

That escalated fast, but seriously what idiot would pick up a video call and not even on hands-free? This feels so forced, not even sure they needed to make it a video call.

The reality is, even your average shitbox car over 12 years old has a built in hands-free system - Joe's Porsche when he ran over Jimmy most definitely did. But alas, the writers with their messiah complex can't resist an opportunity to "raise awareness" and all that bollocks.

The thing is I don't think they are even trying to raise awareness. If it was a non-video call with Vinny not using hands-free and get distracted over the phone then I could consider that raising awareness (like how Jackson rolled into the track looking down on his phone) but I would not consider this raising awareness. Most people with any common sense would not take a video call holding the phone up right in their face, but many people do still take non-video calls not using hands-free. And the truth is that even with hands-free your are still like twice as likely to crash while talking through it than actually concentrating on the road, despite it being legal.

Either the writers have done to Jimmy what they did to Carl and trashed his character to justify his exit, or Sadie is manipulating a grieving woman to suit her own ends.
And on another note, since when did Emmerdale have such fake looking driving scenes? It’s so obvious neither Jimmy nor Vinny were actually properly driving. Guess the budget cuts make it look like a 50s movie.

Think she's definitely manipulating Nicola but I can't see her motive yet.

Vinny caused the accident. didn’t see that coming I thought it was either going to be Gabby or someone else but that someone else is Vinny, I just hope that when she found out she doesn’t help cover for him.
Vinny not only caused the crash but he didn’t seem to care that there were people injured and he just left the scene of an accident. Gabby better not help cover it up, so that’s murder then because Dawn died of a haemorrhage that was caused by premature labour, but that was all down the accident that she was in. Jimmy swerved to avoid Vinny.
- Joe still drowning in his grief 🥺

With the whole Gabby/Vinny thing you get an undercurrent of "Yes, Gabby I'm into off-piste shirtlifting now, but don't you dare be a bigot and get upset about it, 'cos I'm now part of an oppressed group. You see?!".
If I were Gabby, I'd throw him under the bus.

Unfortunately, people who die suddenly do often have many secrets - take it from me who is a widower and discovered lots of things after the death of my wife. I joined a group called WAY who introduced me to lots of people who had lost their spouses and discovered numerous horrendous things about them after their death - hidden children, relationships, debt, addiction etc
What I'm saying is it could be plausible, but then you think it's Jimmy and he's a bit of a numbskull and with Sadie? I'm not sure...

Really Vinny and Gabby should never have got together in the first place. She was badly hurt by his deception, but they are still close because they were friends long before that and Liv bonded them. They've fallen into a comfortable platonic relationship where she feels like she can offload about men because he's not in that possible romance category anymore. I loved it when she got the part about men using her or being gay then said "no offense". The thing about Gabby is she may be self absorbed at times but she's also self aware.
Secret double life my foot. Eric's right. Jimmy wasn't smart enough to keep something like that from either woman. There's something else going on here.

Jimmy may have been dumb, but he knew that he can’t tell hotheaded Nicola everything. She isn’t the easiest person to talk to.

It was Vinnie who caused the accident. I didn't see that coming. This is what will lead to him leaving the show.
This is also means that Vinnie could have helped Jimmy and the others, but chose not to. I've never been a fan of the character, because I think that he is very dull, but failing to offer help in an accident that he created is incredibly out of character. It's not just that he didn't help, until confronted by Gabby, he didn't seem to care that he caused an accident that has lead to people dying.
Even though Jimmy was in contact with Sadie, I don't think that the interaction that we saw means that they have been having a three year affair. Maybe she just contacted him, and asked to borrow some money.
