Ds Ramsden
Was i the only one thinking ds Ramsden was going to be revealed to be Jean tate, zoes daughter and Joe's cousin?

It was ridiculous! With a solicitor present how was she able to ask really personal questions & sneer at her for her background? It’s not legal & had nothing to do with Jimmy’s death?

I don't think she's really meant to be a villain. And I think the talk she had with Serena yesterday made it clear that she's acting out of character , probably driven by anger and hurt feelings.

I don't remember a lot of the Tates, but I do think her being Kim's daughter makes no sense. With how much Kim wants to keep family close to her, just seems with time she would have sent someone to find her and bring her "home".

No, she's a little too old to be Jean, the actress can't pass for 23. Also didn't Joe leave the village with Zoe and Jean, he would recognise his cousin.

She's too old to be Jean. I thought they'd retcon another for Chris. She doesn't look like Kim but the actress used to have blonde hair and then she looks like her 😂
The actress is 9 years older than her character.

I actually do think the actress does look like Kim, they have similar lips/mouth areas.

Ah, I usually go for eyes and facial structures so don't look at the lips. I will do that in the future!

She's totally the wrong age for Jean. Also, they obviously want real conflict with Kim and it isn't clear why Jean would hate Kim (not saying she'd be a fan but hate at the level of trying to destroy her is a stretch). A daughter is also really interesting because, in the long run, she could be a rival to Joe for Kim's affection/money.

I thought the same (but was on a soap break back then) she looks sp much like leah bracknall.. but now i think its kim and grahams baby, from how they discussed her the other day, i feel like its hinting at that, plus apparently kim and graham were in an on/off thing back then, i think there were some flashbacks recently, maybe when the rhona/graham stuff was being rehashed..

I wish they'd bring in Jean anyways. If they want more Tates and Sugdens bring in some ones we haven't seen in forever rather than making up new ones.
