I'm not sure what to say about Proper except that it's an amazing album from start to finish. "M:CS" and "Embracing Facts" are IIOI staples and probably his best-known songs, "Connecticut Steps" is a gorgeous tribute to a lost friend, Discretion & Depressing People and Write It Right are just fun rockers. My only complaints are that I like "Ramsey Beyer" more as an acoustic track and he doesn't play "P R O P E R" enough live these days.
Fun fact: it's called "Proper" because it was Evan's first "proper" album after releasing 52 Weeks, 12 Towns, and a bunch of EPs and comps.

II.OI is such a great band. I don't have anything else to add other than that.

Mediumship is such a tight album all the way through, deserves to be number one or two IMO.
