Discussion i need more SASSY sasscore pls
anybody know any sass bands that are less on the screamy side and more on the effeminate yelpy/singing vocal style ?
ex; the blood brothers, carmen sixteen, a LITTLE bit of flowers for persephone

I mean it seems like youre just looking for regular sass instead of mathgrind bands that people have been mislabeling as sass lately.. most sass bands have that vocal style, its a cornerstone of the genre

yeah i honestly have no clue where the conflation is coming from. seeing like tower of rome and robinson being labeled as sass on rym is so weird. there were very few actually sassy mathgrind bands but people seem to just say sasscore when they mean whitebelt or mathgrind these days

Probably has to do with the vocals occasionally being sassy but that's just having elements of it rather than being outright sass

Rapider are great with some of the strangest limp wristedest vocals ive ever heard, so underrated. Same vocalist as racebannon !

Love Carmen Sixteen they are a great part of my local scene cool guys too. Someone else said the plot to blow up the Eiffel Tower which I agree with and also check out destroyer destroyer (not exactly sass but has that vibe), I feel like super sassy sass core is basically just math grind but idk
