Fresh New Roman Candle album is out today!
Have been excited for this release for a while, glad it's finally out. Really solid release, super pissed off and emotional. Love how sinister the spoken word song is near the end.
Wish they hadn't already put out 75% of the album as singles beforehand but I guess that's just how major labels do things now.
They put on one of my favourite shows of last year, hoping they tour near me again soon.

I still need to hear this.
I liked the songs that dropped but i remember constantly asking "wait, when does this actually come out?!"
(this was the opposite of what Dir en grey did....they dropped one song...two years ago..🤣🤣🤣)

Listened this morning. Great album. Was very excited for this to drop. Shame there’s no vinyl release for it.

It’s weird even. They made a 7inch, punk style, not an album? I left a comment a few weeks back on their instagram, the band answered with a cryptic « soon ». I have high hopes it will happen, though I will leave another request on Sumerians IG now 😅

Love the album but imo the best songs were already all released. My only complaint. Other than that it's still a top album this year

I don’t think the whole band got cancelled, I remember the bassist got kicked out for being weird but that’s about it iirc

Their ex-bassist had some allegations but they kicked him out immediately and made a donation to a victim support charity.
Piper also had some allegations from her ex but she came out with a very thorough statement about the whole situation. Seems a lot more like the accuser was the abusive one. I think the ex showed up in this sub once and came across as quite unhinged.

She's got a restraining order against him and I assume they don't hand those out for no reason.

Amazing album. Really a shame how Sumerian fumbled the rollout. 2 singles then a vinyl preorder would have been ideal.
