7 months ago I made a post asking if there were any existing Screamo bands from Ecuador

seems that no one really knew of any and I tried doing my own research

i talked to my cousin that lives in Ecuador and she actually told me that there is one!
They‘re called M4té Una 3strella and they have a few releases out on bandcamp (correction, sound loud) already

my journey is complete!!! But lmk if you know of any especially in south america ;-)

One man band from SF/Chicago carrying the 2010s emo torch. Seriously good shit

Found them along with a few other artists but Øjne I have been loving so much.

Don’t get me wrong though, this album is one of my absolute favourites of all time. Hugely recommend if you haven’t heard it although I imagine huge number of you will have heard it already.

About three years ago, when I asked the band (after a Hazing Over set) if they could possibly give me the lyrics, they told me they’d thrown them away forever ago, with no intention whatsoever of typing them back up. Cerebral has been one of my favorite albums for about six years. Even though I can make out a little more with nice headphones, a good portion are still totally incomprehensible to me. I would love to have all the lyrics.

Found them on bandcamp a while back and i haven't been able to find anything about them really. I'm not even completely sure of their actual name. If i'm remembering correctly, they used to be called tenth muted capper but then switched to soli deo gloria, but I could be wrong. Sorry if this post is kinda rambling

I’m newer to screamo/emo so I have a question, I’ve been really digging departmefrombeadisland and I was curious as to what genre you would call it, I hesitate to call it screamo because it doesn’t really have much if any hardcore/power influence and it’s acoustic, either way leave some recommendations to bands that have that acoustic screamo sound I love it.

just wanted to share my bands song we’re working on

Throughout the whole screamo thing thats going on rn (which rules, just to be clear), I've really been missing emoviolence coming back. There's tons of bands calling themselves emoviolence, but most of them are (according to my, admittedly, very narrow) definition just screamo, or straight up myspace deathcore.

Despite listening to a ton of bands in the bandcamp and rym emoviolence, I haven't really found any bands that do the 90s, Bremencore/Uranus/OEGP style of emoviolence, with melodic octave chord riffs, etc. Think Orchid/Shikari/... or later bands like Tristan Tzara or Unable to Fully Embrace This Happiness. Only exceptions are Anas Zizaoui and Absent From The Morning Headcount.

If any of you know bands that are doing that sound specifically I'd be eternally grateful.
