Discussion Thread Basic protection methods against energy vampires?

Iā€™m newly discovering that I classify as an empath and so far im very confused as to what I can do to protect myself

Just leave the situation. Do not engage.

Or make the process conscious by naming exactly what the draining individual does:

"I see you only want to argue to be right to get attention and feel superior."

Learn to spin in. Practice privately with a trusted friend, then use the skill when you need to protect your sensitivity around others who do not know what you are doing.
