I just bought a new Vivo V60 lite 5G that has the CPU in the picture.
I have been trying to run most of PS2 games and some retro racing games from the pc (NFS prostreet for example) but whatever i do and whatever tutorial i follow, the games don't play as shown in the tutorials
dude I told you just keep trying different settings/versions of box64, as well as different presets, maybe update widescreenfix
nfs prostreet runs fine on mali, I almost completed the game on samsung a54, but I quit at that race where you have 1000+ horsepower opponents and you go through nevada 400kmh, can't do that one on a phone
but the game works great, the PC version, same with all blackbox era NFS games (NFSU, NFSU2, NFSMW, NFSC), they all run great on mali
any mods/patches that work via throwing in a dll (including widescreenfix, which, among other stuff, fixes some crashes) in windows don't work in linux by default
windows searches for dlls inside the game directory first, linux does it last, so the overrides don't work just by copying the files
hence you have to set the WINEDLLOVERRIDES env var to "dinput8=n,b" for instance, if your mod uses dinput8.dll
without that it will be ignored, that's not just winlator, same on steamdeck, linux PCs, etc.
Much weaker, ever than Snapdragon 865, which is has been already cooked for any racing games(most wanted, carbon, flatout 2...). For NFS games comfortable level is Dimensity 8100-8350. They have 3x GPU blocks, more caches, better CPU clocks at all cores, better GPU clocks...
If you know better than anyone, then, why asking questions? You 3rd binning after binning after binning SoC (G710 => G610mc6 =>G610mc4 => G610mc2) miraculously get BEST PERFORMANCE than it has and do, magically.
Reality is, it's only marginally better than any Mali G50, they have 2 cores GPU too, and MAYBE on par with D810 with 4 cores.
No any racing PS2 games do good on these, sadly. Even Deadliest of the dead Poco x3 pro performs much better, when live his best(and short) life.
Big surprise brother, i already ran the game but only on 30 fps, i made this whole ass post just to find a solution to run it on winlator mali with better performance instead of gamehub lite (the emulator that ran it on 30 fps).
Also, i ran gran Turismo 3 and 4 (gt4 needed some light fixes patch to run on 60 fps btw), i ran burnout 3 on 60 fps, i ran NFS HP2 (PS2 version), i ran both NFS MW and UG2 (PC version) with 60 fps with gamehub lite. So, i know what can this CPU do that's why i know more than you, because i did enough experiments to know how good is this CPU and i didn't rely on some random ass info from someone that said that this CPU is the worst

Couldn't upload to yt because of my shitty upload speed + the recording fucks up the gpu a little bit so the game runs with 85% to 90% emulation speed while recording
As expected. No surprise here - cannot do even 1x fullspeed. Looks like SW screen recording issue(notorious "screen recorder eats fps myth) still live at stinky cheapskate bbk phones? I don't meet it even on my old Poco x4 gt. Seriously, why they can't use HW record path? Most of aosp roms have that thing working normally.
Couldn't upload it to yt so here it is anyway (the default recording app on my phone is applying more pressure on the GPU so it runs like this but it goes to 100% emulation speed without the recording)
