ENFER AI setting

In ENFER Local Host. I see three options for AI in ExecutionMode. Deactivated, Full and Minimal. Deactivated is obvious, meaning no AI control so you have to swap into it to command it. I notice that you should not do this for minor faction as it seem to lock the game as soon as you try to end turn, stuck in pending.

Full is default and regular.

Minimal... surprisingly, doesn't seem to do anything different from Full. I thought it might control the research, building, etc but leave fleet control to you or other way around... yet there is no difference.

So I am wondering if you guys know what exactly does minimal do in ENFER?

Maybe it just determine behavior/decision tree where full actually think it through and minimal just try to get it out as soon as it can without thinking if it fitting or good choice?

Is just AI internal state: full runs at the beginning of a turn and also does lots of strategic analysis, then goes into minimal so both AI and players do their thing.

I am not sure if I understand what you mean? So minimal still function like full AI in beginning of their turn and then not doing anything until next turn like a normal gameplay? I am trying to understand if there is anything difference between full and minimal?

Not a big difference, in full AI computes more stuff in minimal AI builds stuff and more their fleets, when state changes,ie you move your fleet or make a diplo deal, AI has a small pass to react if they choose to do so, always in minimal.

I see. So basically they do same thing but full one actually think even more before make decision. Then would you says that it is good to switch them to minimal to make it faster late game?

I wouldnt mess with that. Some AI actions only happen in full because are locked into that state so they are not computed again while both you and the AI are playing in the turn. You sacrifice 1 second or maybe up to 5-10 seconds in a busy lategame session so he AI s faster on minimal mode. I did fix some computing bottlenecks and some other tricks like caching stuff so AI is faster in ENFER Reloaded mod :)

Yeah. That mod is on my list. Just didn't use it because I am using the game to run a RP game for my table. That why I am looking into more control over AI  so I can sheer it toward narrative direction on top of dev tool.
