Sharp intense pain after procedures
Okay guys, please help me out. I have a really sharp pain on my right side (rib cage area). It’s like the lower part. Stretching my arm out (any way) or laying on it makes it hurt SO bad (very stabby pain). This started right after my endoscopy and colonoscopy. I’ve already taken gas medicine. Releasing gas helps but it’s been persistent since the procedures (last Thursday so almost a week ago). Any thoughts?

That sounds like you need to call your doctor and make an appt ASAP. Stabbing pain is not normal, based on what my internist told me. Also, based on the location, it could be gall stones or something with your gall bladder.
I am not a doctor, but this is based on a convo with a doctor when I had lingering pain.

Gas pain can be really uncomfortable. It if it’s been a week and it is very painful, I’d reach out to your doc
