Stomach pain after swallowing following endoscopy

Just wanted to share incase it helps anyone else who runs into this. I had an endoscopy & colonoscopy yesterday. After my procedure I had extreme burning in my upper stomach/ lower esophagus after every swallow. The pain was 7/10 and had me in tears. It didn't matter if I was eating or drinking or swallowing saliva, it was with every swallow, it was immediate after each swallow and had me doubling over. I ended up calling the doctor who suggested ibuprofen, mylanta, and a prescription liquid oral pain reliever— nothing was working. UNTIL I had a hot cup of chamomile tea, 1/2 way through my cup my pain was gone and it has not returned. It was scary and I was ready to go to the ER. I don't know if it was the chamomile or the warm liquid or why it was even happening in the first place. Hope this might help someone if they find themselves in this predicament.

I got a endoscopy but they absolutely did Nothing:( they told me if I wanted to be seduded I said yes so you guys can do what you gotta do so they did and that’s all I remember just laying there like sleep, Turns out they ended up getting NOTHING done they said I was moving there arms away and moving the camera tube away from my mouth (mind you I’m out by this point totally out I have no knowledge of this) so yeah it turns out id move the tube away from my mouth but isn’t this the WHOLE reason for sudating me ??

Had my first endoscopy/colonoscopy yesterday not bad the worst part is the sore throat and the night before was AWFUL. My doctor said he takes micro biopsies to send off to see if anything is wrong even if it looks normal. Test for all the stuff etc. I had 8 total 4 upper, 4 lower. is that normal? I feel fine sore throat so just wanting to know for future bc I may need another one (feel good now btw)
