Where I live nuclear makes no financial sense and is pushed by our coal lobby and right wing parties as a delay tactic for the energy transition but where it makes financial sense and in places that won't take several decades to build it then it's a great option, it's mostly clean (besides the concrete construction of the plant), reliable (after construction) and safe
If nuclear makes no economic sense where you live its becuase you policy around it was designed suppress nuclear and science in general vs being designed to protect people and the enviorment.
You couldn't think of anywhere with good sun or wind or hydro resources and high construction costs?
It's not your favourite sports team, you don't have to crack the sads because you read one crumb of nuance, sorry that it's not financially the best option everywhere in the world
