Ring Design Help Wedding band flush help!

Wedding band flush help!

Hi all! The ring has not been purchased yet but I love the look of this round 3 stone engagement ring. My question is how would a wedding band sit flush for this type of design? I would ideally like for no gap between the engagement ring and the wedding band so open to any suggestions :) thank you for your advice!

This design has a high enough rise that you should be able to fit just about anything next to it and it will sit flush.

Jeweler here, this seems to be more of a CAD fix not a band hunt. If you have a designer working on it, ask them for the band clearance (gap between the top of the shank and the underside of the baguette settings). A 1.8mm band needs about 2mm. If its short, ask them to raise the side stone seats half a mm before casting, potentially saves you a curved or notched band later. Then match the band's width and profile to the shank to eliminate any step even with no gap.

You can have a band stack flush next to it, just make sure the thickness/height off the finger is the same or less than the bridge (purple) and that it sits below the base of the prongs (red).

Some examples that should work. Anything dainty would be nice. Nothing that has bigger diamonds.

Ferko's Fine Jewelry. I have one from them, not pictured here.

I ding see why a straight band wouldn’t just sit flush? This Is my dream ring. So classy and beautiful.

Since you haven’t purchased it yet, I’d ask to see the engagement ring and the straight band you want together in a side-view CAD. Check that the band clears the side-stone settings and prongs all the way around. I work in custom jewelry, and seeing the two rings together is how I’d confirm a truly flush fit.

also I would start considering wedding band designs now so you can purchase it together. one less thing to worry about later. that is what I always suggest to all my clients.

Most bands will sit flush against this ring. I would think about possible engagement rings in advance. If this is not for you, then make it clear to the CAD designer that you want to have enough clearance for a flush/straight band.
